  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice Adds a refreshing citrusy zing.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard Balances tanginess and depth.
  • 1 tbsp Honey Provides subtle sweetness.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Marinade

  • In a large bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of Galena Street seasoning, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, and 1 tablespoon of honey. Stir until well mixed.

Coat the Chicken

  • Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and toss until each piece is evenly coated. For maximum flavor, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight.

Cook the Chicken (Baking Method)

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the marinated chicken breasts on a lined baking tray and bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature (165°F or 74°C).

Cook the Chicken (Grilling Method)

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates. Grill the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, brushing with extra marinade during grilling. Ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Rest the Chicken

  • After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute and enhance flavor.

Serve

  • Serve the chicken with your choice of sides, such as creamy mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or garlic butter rice.

Recipe Notes:

  • Marinating Time:
    For the best flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight if you have the time. This will allow the spices to fully penetrate the chicken and enhance the taste.
